RODI is running right now. New pressure gauge is 0-60PSI and is pegged.
Will need to bring home a 0-100PSI tomorrow, no idea it was this high.
Was thinking it was between 35-40PSI, go figure.
Booster pump for RO will surely not be needed! :D

Restricting the concentrate on this one is a no no!
Wide open concentrate is 10oz. per minute.
Permeate is at 20oz. per minute.
I can live with this! :)

I just read this whole journal today, good stuff :) wtb some of that Peruensis and see how it fares in my 10g sometime.

It is nice to know someone is interested, Thank You!
Just posted a new sale thread here too! ;)

I can grow but am unable to get organized.
Find a new plant, means new experiment.
Buy a new tank and run out of space very quickly.
It's been years and I cannot get past the collecting of different species and growing.
Estimate 70-80 species of plants at this time.

I am either very patient or lazy with trimming!
Algae, yes it happens. Have been know to wait and observe huge outbreaks.
Years of service seem to be required to experience just a portion of it all.:)

Keep in mind too, I still have plants that disintegrate in record time!:D

Phishless as a handle says a lot!
More plants, less phish.o_O

I hear you on all these things!

Despite being 'new' I've lurked for years and only just recently made an account here. Been on TPT for ages. I'm currently running just a 10g that emergency replaced my Spec V that started leaking at a bottom seam a few days after I had to move.

Transferred a good chunk of my ok plants into the 10 which got a healthy filter squeeze plus all the bio media from the spec. So Insta cycle and my shrimp, oto and chili's all survived!

I put in some ar mini to fill out missing plant mass and just love seeing that dark red/purple/bronze color.

As you can see, I have a lot of growing to wait for.

I am Dumb!!!

Shipped some plants Saturday morn, trimmed and bagged some for local club auction.
Attended local club meeting and brought home more plants.o_O

Slowly dropping the KH in 2 of my tanks.
Crypts had a few leaves turn to jelly first go around.
Some improvement is going on with this KH drop regarding growth.

Possibly more later this eve with some pics of the farm.

My present plants are growing well, but I could grow them much better if it were not for shading.
Entirely my fault for packing 10lbs. in a 5lb. can!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Trimmed about 15 species of plants this eve.
Topped off all tanks with RODI water.
Moved several species tank to tank etc...o_O

Prepping for a weekend away from home.
Going camping but rain is in the forecast, leaving horses @ home for this one.

Fed this phish this evening and another dose of food in the am.
Double EI macros in the morning and micros will wait till Sunday eve!

Many new species of plants growing.
Thanks to Vin ,Joe, and Gregg I am still months away from the new look.:D

It has been very simple lately.
I dose lots and trim lots.

When someone purchases plants I send plenty of extras.
It is better than tossing them.
It's a jungle in there now, all 3 tanks even.

Back to trimming!

Tested all 3 tanks yesterday, all low on macros.
While trying to up my PO4 to 2.5ppm, I just can't do it with capped soil.
A surface scum is created when additional PO4 is added.
Had to skim this eve with a solo cup, red cup even! :D

Micros this eve, some tanks CSM+B and one is a roll my own w/Urea added on micro day, never mind every day is micro day on this one.

All of the trimming has paid off.
Less shading, shorter plant mass always pearls way better.

I have 3 species of Buce in my 33G phishless growout tank.
It came from buceplant as emerged growth and is covered inn BBA from the transition I guess.:(
I may clean it up this eve, but procrastination may win me over.
It is a true PITFA I have been putting off.
All of the new growth has flowers growing up but the old growth looks like a "feather duster" of BBA.

Had to toss the BBA covered Buce, I was not that impressed with it and didn't want to strip it to bare rhizome since there is no where to put it.

Been home sick for two days, I don't remember yesterday almost all sleep.
Today I would have been sent home if I showed up so.............

Made some RODI water w/GH booster to 2GH.
Just did my largest WC in the 80 gallon frag tank ever, a whole 18 gallons.
This was due to the amount of plants pulled and the cap breaches and vacuuming thereafter.
Even with spray-bar running tank never gets cloudy.
I blame this on sifting the hell out of the miracle-gro before usage.

Over time I am noticing that every few times I pull lots of plants some additional BDBS should be added.
Reckon that eventually soil will be gone following this method.
Right will be all BDBS in about 2 years, center about 3 years, and left would hold up for about 4 years.
This is all based on how I operate now.

Capped soil will be my go to for all future tanks.
The only caution involved is how "hot" the soil is related to Phish & inPhertibrates, catchy new term! :D
Hot soil must weakened if critters are to go in immediately.

Cory's and shrimp think all this uprooting is a playground.
Cardinalis as a 8-10" plant with soil and this is small form gone mad.
Cypress helferi finally took off will separate for the background soon.

What got pulled this eve would plant most tanks, but only 25% for one evening.

This is too much to deal with all @ once!
