Typically 10mls per shot and then you use no more than say 10mls per 10 Gal of tank.

So no more than 200mls for you at any one time.

This will kill most of the BBA on the plants, regular 3%, Rite Aid 69 cents a quart stuff.
Not diluted.

Do this when you do a big water change, then wait maybe 5 min and refill.
Done 2x a week for 2-3 weeks, this should take care of most of it.

Some folks hit with Excel the same way, but this seems to toast some plants etc.
Still pestering the BBA does work over time.
Once beaten back good, it's not much of an issue.
This is only for the level below the water change level.

Tom,

So....

1. Drain tank 80%
2. Use baster or pipette to apply h202
3. Wait 5 minutes
4. Fill tank

That's it? What if the w/c was NOT done and I simply poured in 200 mls? Would this impact BBA elsewhere, or is the water change REQUIRED?

I want to be sure and safe.

Thanks as always.

Hi all,

This thread has gone on so long and gotten so large that I am going to soft close it (not post) and then hard close it later.

I have posted way too much :)

I started a new thread in the aquascape section and the first page summarizes the current hardware, setup, config, etc so is up to date. This will help folks who just want to know that type of info and not have to read 1k other posts of mine to get there :)

Plus, will be a new year soon, so starting fresh. I will be replacing the last stauro section with ET today and shipping the 049 to JJ tomorrow so it will be fresh and good for him to use.

Thanks to all for following along all of this time..

Here is the new thread URL:
