If you could only have three plant species in your tank...what would they be and why?

I'll start first.

1. Hemianthus callitrichoides - love the bright green color, shape & size. HC makes your tank look bigger. My favorite foreground plant.

2. Eleocharis acicularis - adds a "dreamy & peaceful feel" to the tank. Goes well with HC.

3. Eleocharis vivipara - makes a perfect trifecta with the other two plants. I think the shape is nice for smaller tanks as well. Also looks good with current in the tank.

Whadda 'bout you guys?

I think I'll shoot myself if that was for real.

1 Hydrothrix gardneri (I'm in love with this annual plant: it's useful in both background and midground)
2 Bucephalandra sp (hard to choose which species or variant: neat at foreground and flexible to plant in substrate, rock even driftwood and they blossom underwater!)
3 Eriocaulium sp 'Ban wa wa' (love them! Nice midground grass-bushlike plant)

Portugal - Viana do Castelo
current tank:
Foreground - HC
Center background - Eleocharis acicularis or vivipara ( not sure !? .... %&$# ) +
Middleground both sides - Glossostigma elatinoides

marsilea hirsuta or quadrifoglia were also an option but other reviews talked about explosive growth, so i´ve dropped off.
