Am I loosing it? Shouldnt this be 1.63 grams?

To reach your target of 1.0 ppm NO3,
you'll need to add 1.63 mg of KNO3
into your 1000.0 mL container.
Each 1.0 mL of that mix into 1.0 L is:

K = 0.630ppm
NO3 = 1.000ppm

Indeed, it should be 1.63 GRAMS to start with.

Thanks for finding that bug -- I referenced the wrong variable (the per dose equivalent when using solutions) in that output. The rest of the calculation was correct, and this bug should be fixed.

Let me know! Thanks!

No worries! I have been known to put out a bug or two...it's job security when done properly :)

Thanks for taking the time to write and maintain the scripts! I find them invaluable.

... and on that note, while fixing the above bug it turns out I created a new bug where the calculator always returned "0" as the dose to reach a target. Tug caught this one, and it's fixed.

Using this to add the new filters and your tests and suggestions for http://calc.petalphile.com :

Added:

CaCl2.2H2O, CaSO4, CaMg(CO3)2, MgSO4.7H2O
dGH (as CaO equivalents) for all the above
dKH (as CO3 equivalents) from CaMg(CO3)2
