Hello everyone,
I am searching for Rotala sp. mini "butterfly" to complete my aquarium:cool:
I am hoping to find a small bunch, about 6-8 stems. Thank you!

May be difficult to found, because Rotala Butterfly is not any stable form.
All these plants are Rotala Butterfly Mini:

The problem with those Butterfly is that just only little changes can result in "forever Green plants".
Once a Butterfly morph back to Macrandra Green - it will never again get magenta color.
Can be a very frustrating plant.

Better look for Rotala Macrandra Mini Type IV "Red":

This tiny Macrandra can be red or magenta, but this is a stable form that will not morph back to Macrandra Green.

Hey FreshPuff, i think i may have given you some Rotala 'Butterfly' when i gave you some Lindernia 'Variegated'...except it reverted back to R. macranda 'Green' long ago. If you get any of the abovementioned mini R. macranda please keep me posted (hint hint).

When I had Rotala mini butterfly, it sent out a few branches that looked like Rotala macranda green and I just snipped them off. It's a challenging plant - variable color, slow growth rate; color can range from dull red to speckled red, the leaf size can get skinny or too wide, it's also prone to algae when growing slow.

Contact manini, he might have it available for sale.
