Hi, I posted this on TPT but I didnt get any good answers...

In the middle, between the petite anubias, compare with the same moss on the right a lil down:

Why does this happen? I've been trimming what looks dead but keeps happening.

30 gal shrimp tank, Medium light 6hrs, lean ferts, press co2 24/7

this is the whole tank:

Looks like you answered it yourself: lean ferts... Where most plants can draw some ferts from the substrate, mosses can't. Try to supply enough ferts!

I see, The substrate is inert tho. Other plants are not showing signs of deficiencies. I dose daily 0.5 ml PPSpro and CSM-b.

No3 5ppm and po4 is about 1ppm.

Is that too lean for moss?

I tend to associate poor moss growth with CO2.
Good CO2, it grows well in a wide range of conditions.

Hmmm. It grows really well in my loe light non co2 tank, may the light in the tank in question require more co2?

It's down to 4-5 hrs total now, and there is a lot of floating and tall plants.

I'm puzzled...

Moss is not pick about ferts.
It is picky about CO2.

Likes current also.

Geez! That is so weird then... I have two canisters creating a pretty strong current in the front, specially because of the sunsun 304b spray bar....

Im at 1bps I co2 (inline glass bcounter)... I'm a bit hesitant to increase the rate. I will try by positioning the diffuser in a better strategical spot again.

Thanks!
