Who has a recipe for homemade micros?

Well, i guess the title says enough.

On my 180 gallon I'm using $30 on micros per month ,so maybe it's better to buy all the ingredients and make it myself.

Who can help or provide a link to the right place?

I just use CMS, then spike with various things like DTPA and maybe some MgSO4/K2SO4, Excel etc.
CMS is cheap and can be shipped to your door.

Get 2 kg's, that will last a very long time and not cost 30$ a month!

CMS has the following:
Fe 7% Mg 1.50% Cu 0.1%
Mn 2% Zn 0.4% Mo 0.06%
About 1/2 a teaspoon (2.2grams) will give you your daily dose.
You can get it at http://www.aquariumfertilizer.com/
and also at http://www.greenleafaquariums.com/
Pick up some FeDTPA if you have hard water.

But the traces with high Fe-DTPA as TPN but low Cu as Flourish would be better.

Do that dutchy. I can recommend it. I use stuff from Gilles for months now and it is good stuff. Is use his complete mix and the iron he sells.

Pretty easy and much cheaper, like the same cost as 5 liter of Tropica, will cost about the same CMS for 500 liters..........maybe more.

That is why i sell it at thesame rates as Aquariumfertilizer (e.g. almost no wins) It doesn't have to be expensive, fertilizing your tank!
