Most will be happy to send you all of their excesses and will usually toss in a whole bunch of small plants ... so offer them $20 plus the $13.95 postage ... Greg
I have a 60-ish corner bow front that is a couple of years stable. When I first started, after all of my initial, thorough research, I decided to inject CO2 with a cylinder, regulator, pH monitor, and DIY powerhead CO2 diffuser. I had limited success due to lack of maintenance and too few plants. When my regulator pegged for no reason at all, I stopped with the injection and let the anubias, pteropus, and wendtii do their own thing. Hardy plants, those.
Two years later I'm restaking my claim on my hobby. That being said, I'd like to plant heavy. I'd also like to take Greg's advice and obtain some trimmings from a fellow hobbyist. If any of you are willing to do it, please let me know.
I have ten small to mid-sized angelfish that I'm hoping to get a few pairs from. With this in mind, also, I'd love something that ends up tall, flat, and broad for them to lay claim to for spawning.
Thank you for your time!
