What is this algae and what do I need to do to the other ones, the Pantel?

Pics first, seems to just started , I removed the plant what is it, and how to remove it, and what do I need to add to the Water to increase the Red Pantel?

The algae is BBA (black beard algae) trim out as much as you can. Check your CO2 and make sure your flow is getting to all of the areas in the tank.

Try to get your SAE's as small as possible. They do great at taking care of BBA while they are young but as they get older they figure out that an easy meal can be had while you are feeding the other fish. Once they start taking the other food the BBA just becomes a last resort.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm about to order some Blyxa for my next build. I would love for it turn red like that! Anyway, I have the same BBA sometimes too. I find it is easiest to just remove the affected leaves ASAP.
