So this is my city’s water report and I’m having a little trouble understanding some of the readings in the report, I’ve been dealing with diatoms for a while and was trying to see if my tap water has a lot of silicates but can’t seem to find that in the report. Also I’m trying to come up with a fert dosing schedule and wanted to see if anyone could give me some advise on what nutrients are lacking and what nutrients that I might not need as much.

I don’t see a reference to silicates. Nice soft water.

Calcium to magnesium ratio might be off a little

@Mike k So do you suggest me adding a gh booster after my weekly water change? My tap water is pretty soft I get a reading of 3-4 dgh/Dkh and a 7.6 ph with a 1 degree drop when co2 is on. But when I test my aquarium water it stays at a pretty consistent 3-4 dkh and 7-8 dgh. Does that even make sense?

I’m not a chemist but it does make sense. My water in Tulsa was the same. There is something they add to the water, a type of salt, that will keep your kh/gh reading low and ph high.

Some one else will know the ratio better than I will but some epsom salt will raise you magnesium. I have seen 2-1 calcium to magnesium, not an expert.
