Could someone that knows what all these numbers mean take a look at my water report and tell me if I should be dosing anything special? I know my water is very hard and has a ph of 7.6 from my own experience but all the other stuff is Greek to me. Should I be dosing some extra Mg or anything else besides the basic EI and micros I dose? Thanks for any help :)

Is there a site/pdf you could link us to? Looking at it that way I can't tell what the units of measurement is with some of this. I'm sure you can't have some of these in ppm.

The water quality report file seams to be corrupted, but Mg does not look as if it would be limiting from your post. With the high KH it might be necessary to dose some DTPA Fe. What do you dose now for macro and micro?

Oops, looks like I missed a reply. Sorry about that Rupey.

From what I can see, Ca and Mg are more than satisfied by your tap water. Nitrates are just about non-existent. The report doesn't seem to give much more info.

Water looks fine to me.
First 4 rows are levels of radioactive compounds in your water, all below the maximum allowed level.
next 6 rows are the levels of halogenated organic compounds in your water, which are organic compounds attached to chlorine/bromine (stuff like chloroform and CFCs). They're pretty toxic but the amount in your water is negligible.
Everything below that are the levels of certain elements of interest. The important ones i guess are arsenic, chromium and lead, all very toxic. All pretty low so nothing to worry about i guess.

Thanks a lot for the replies. I guess the only problem I have is when I dose my micros it makes the water cloudy. I'm going to order some iron DTPA and see if that's any better. Thanks again!

Are you dry dosing? If so are you premixing? If dosing from a stock solution, are you putting in something to inhibit mold and storing it in a solid colored container that won't allow light through?

Yes, I'd highly suggest using the DTPA in your case or anyone where there is a high KH.
the other nutrients are fine however, Fe is specific to the KH issue and why you see the white color when the ETDA is added.
DTPA will not do this and will available to the plants much much longer in solution.

Yes I am dry dosing everything. I mix the micros (plantex csm+b) with a glass of water and then dump them in the tank. Same with the macros.

OK I got the FE DTPA and some new plantex+b mix what would you suggest dosing for a 75 gallon high light, 4x54 watt T5-2 Giesemann aquaflora and 2 Giesemann midday bulbs. Co2 injected through two inline reactors (one on each filter eheim 2217's) with a koralia 2 for extra circulation. CO2 drop checker with 4 dkh solution is always yellow/green? I have been doseing 1/4 tsp plantex each day now so the plants don't show any deficiencies. I was thinking a 1/4 tsp plantex and 1/8 tsp FE every other day? Any thoughts?

I'd say 1/8 of each 3x a week should more than do the job. It should satisfy your micros and land you around 1ppm Fe dosed per week.

Thanks Dan, I'll start with what you suggested and go from there. Thanks for all the help!!
