Ultra-rare dual stage stainless steel 500 series regulator offered by Victor. Normally this regulator retails for about $1000. You can't find one used for less than $477. This regulator has a stainless steel body and stainless diaphrams and is intended for corrosive or toxic gasses, in addition to medical specialty gasses. This regulator is used in situations where ultra-precise regulation of gas is needed.

Here are the specs on the regulator:
http://www.dmltrading.com.sg/documentation/SGT500.pdf

I have added a stainless steel CGA 320 nut, nipple, and port filter. I have also added a stainless Burkert type 6011 solenoid ($90), stainless Ideal Valve w/ micrometer handle ($130, iirc), Swagelok stainless check valve, and all stainless Swagelok NPT components. I have also replaced both gauges with new OEM USG stainless gauges.

I have spared no expense in building this regulator.

Why am I selling it? Because I have two built this way, and I only have one 17 gallon fish tank.

It doesn't get any better than this.

Non-negotiable price:

Let me know if you need any help. Once you're ready, I know a person who can order the SGT500 or HPT500 directly from Victor. I'll also throw the thing together for you if you want me to. I'm sure you can do it yourself with the proper tools.

Thanks Matt F. I have a friend in hospital procurement who's getting me a price on a new one. Please let me know what kind of numbers you're talking for all parts so I know what kind of money I'm looking at. It'll help in my planning. Much appreciated.

I'm wondering if this is a new unit or purchased on ebay. It looks pretty beat up. Matt why did you delete the selling price? This SGT500 is a couple generation old. The same model I have. I realize you are using a lot of buzzing words too. Like ultra rare. Well finding one on eBay is rare after all.

You're what I call a "specialist," sir. If you have a problem with me, let's take your advice and take it to PM. We're local. We could meet up, too. I see you're in the south bay. I'm sure you're a nicer guy in real life than you seem online. Hell, we might even get along! Probably not.

Matt totally pioneered this whole look. I mean you can really only put these things together so many ways. Matt was the 1st guy to use the reducing street elbow. I know it's from a bit before a lot of the people around today would know bit it's still kinda cool that you guys totally dislike each other for what's reasons but both dig the style of regulator.

Just a 1 am observation.

edit - Tom, this spam bot questioning is starting to really suck. Well, only when it's late and i forget it's coming.

This is so childish :disgust:
Instead of showing regulators, cars why don`t you guys show what this hobby is all about - Aquariums, especially planted ones.

Spam bot?

Alan got a moderate post when I checked. I would/have NEVER exercise any moderation to moderate his or anyone's post. I sent him a PM expressing that. In fact, I've never done this to anyone ever on this site. I've banned 3 fools. I asked one nice poster with some personal issues to refrain but never banned them.
You want to suggest or even IMPLY I'm doing stuff behind the scene, I'll call you out on it right here, right now.
I do not put up with that from anyone ever.

Since folks cannot stop and now they are trying to drag me into this, I'm locking a pair of threads for the 1st time in YEARS.
