UV fluorescent vs. LED

    What's the popular opinion between these. All the planted tanks I've ever seen use LED lighting only. Has anyone had any experience with UV lighting?

    What do you mean by UV? UV is defined by spectra between 100-400nm so there is a huge range. LEDs can also produce UV light, though it's not energy-efficient. 400nm is not UV but can induce fluorescence.
