Using an airstone with plants?

I think I've decided to stay non-co2 on my tanks now for a while. Would there be any reason NOT to use an airstone in the tanks? Will it make any difference in a non-co2 tank?

I use a powerhead to aerate my tank that barely ripples the top of my water. I have zero visible algae, good plant growth, and happy fish. I use excel so I'm not completely non-co2. I believe even when using CO2 a little aeration is a good thing. At least that is what I've concluded from reading this forum. I'm not sure an air stone counts as a little aeration though. Never used one.

Just use small filter, there's no need to have bubbles/aeration.

I like bubbles though!

If you like them then feel free to use them, there's no harm in running them in a non CO2 tank.
