  2. Unfortunately for Photobucket users, things have changed in a big way as of June 26th they are rolling out a $399 per year subscription fee for those who want to hotlink images from Photobucket’s servers to display elsewhere.
This does not mean it only affects this site, It now means that billions of images across the Web now display an error message instead of the image in question. :(

I will be making some changes to the Newsletter coming up here.
I'll have the Red algae article done here in a few days and off to Greg for publishing.

    Hopefully before Apr 26th

I am doing a general Freshwater algae ecology and physiology for Planted aquariums coming up here for May. Greg is going to be out for a couple of weeks or so, so Ideally, I wanted to have something for him before hand.

The general article is not nearly as done as the Red, so the red will appear first.
I need to lay a good foundation here, I know eventually this text will be regarded and critiqued for many years to come.

So the general article will focus more on the overlying issues there and the Red will be specific to about 3-4 species we deal with(BBA and Staghorn included).

    Regards,
    Tom Barr
