For those of you that keep this plant, how do you trim it?

Do you trim and replant the tops or do you just mow it down and let it regrow like you would glosso?

I have found that over time this plant grows on top of itself and gets too thick, so I have been trimming it down to the substrate and letting it grow back so it stays low and doesn't pile on top of itself.

I wish it would handle shipping better so I could do something with these trimmings, but it's too cold where I live.

Mowing works really well....or just running your fingers gently through it will reduce the topmost layers some..
