Trace recipe?

Tom, you mentioned in another news group that you are using your own recipe for traces and have been doing so for some time. Would you be able to share with us what the ingredients, % makeup etc. are?

I've been using Plant-Prods trace mix but find that that some of my tanks need and extra shot of Fe just to move things along a little better.

Yea, I've had a few ask already. I'm not going to give it away so other folks can make the $$$. Why should I? I do not get anything for that. They do not even cite or credit me. Several CO2 devices, dosing PO4, GH boosters, all sorts of things.

Done that more than enough already.
An example is the ADA liquid fert analysis, spent a lot of time and $, but then folks want this as well.

An old saying, "pigs get fed, hogs get slaughtered."
Do not be too greedy.

Don't like it, do the research yourself.
I'm not obligated to give everything away.

"No" is a lot more than you might get from the smart aleck responses of some companies. You do not even get an honest straight answer...........

This leads to the obvious question: do you still plan on making the new trace mix available at some time in the future? As I recall, the last time this was asked you were still evaluating its effectiveness.

Where how and when will this be available for purchase????? Also will it be a dry fert that we will mix (like CSM) or will it be liquid already?? Thanks,

It will be sold dry, why pay for water to be be shipped at 10x the cost?

I will have the Seachem like Dry mix as well.

Cost will not be cheap relative to CMS, but it'll be 10X less than flourish and Tropica and no shipping issues due to liquids.

Sound perfectly smart and reasonable. I stand ready to order some. Any estimate of time frame when you think it will be ready to sell and ship?
