I have a 20 gallon high aquarium, with DIY co2. I have 2*24 watt t5HO bulbs. Ive been reading around and it seems like this is way too much light. So should i turn one bulb off? Or am i incorrect?

I have the same setup, 10 gallon high with 2x24w T-5HO. My light fixture is elevated above my tank, however, by 1 foot if I'm not mistaken.

I'm not really sure i can elevate mine. You have that on a 10 gallon?
