Tom: Disk Diffusor or Venturi Internal Reactor?

Tom,

I'm now injecting Co2 via an in-line reactor into my 40 gallon. I've read your recent Co2 article and threads since then and I have to admit to some confusion (probably my denseness) as to what method you currently think is the best way to go. Are you recommending

1. a ceramic disk diffusor (such as the Eheim, Boyo or Azoo (do you have a preference?)) under the spraybar or

2. Using an internal venturi reactor such as you've got diagrams on this site?

Either, the best mist seems to be when the disc are used.
Making sure they produce consistent bubbles/sizes etc is a key element though.
Internal venturis are eseential maintenance free and take up more space.

You can split the line and add CO2 via disc and reactor also.

One other tag along question. Should you disregard pH control with the CO2 mist method? I currently have a my pH controlled at 6.7-6.8 running into an internal powerhead reactor. Should I just remove the reactor and pH controller and run a couple of disk diffuser below the pump outlets?
Tank is 75gallon.
