Does the 5ml per 20g's recommendation go for TMG as well? Only products I have used are Flourish and 2T/500ml Plantex.

do we know the Iron content in TMG? i.e. what ppm Iron effect does 5ml TMG dosed in 20g's have?

I'll say this, it does not matter, the actually delivered ppm vs what the the dosage needed to supply the plants with enough are two different things.
What is in the water column in terms of ppm Fe varies rapidly.
It is a poor way to predict plant growth.
Test kits have many issues.
Basically you do not need to worry about it.
EI was done with TMG and Flourish FYI.
