Hi there,
Does anyone of you fellows has ever tried to make or use a multi timer or controller in order to replace the bulky timers? My idea is to use one unit that controls all(lights, air pumps, co2, dosing pumps and so on). But the major problem is that I need a controller that will be able to define different time sets for each plug. Do you have some experience with such devices? I would like to try DIY! Im not after those brand ones with all not usefull options. Need just to control the on/off time of each switch!

Regards

Hi,

I am quite sure I have a plan for one around here somewhere. I think I recall one on The Krib.

I have seen pretty sophisticated system timers on sale at the big box stores. Unless you just want to build one you might want to check WalMart, Home Depot, if you have a FRy's Electronics around they are good for such things.

I recall Wasserpet's irrigation timer he did. Should be able to handle multiple functions.

They use the irrigation timers for watering the lawn, landscape etc, fairly cheap etc.
