So I bought my dream tank, ada120p, and from my own stupidity, I missed a chip that is in the side bottom middle of the tank after freight. I am debating on trying to sell it as is, or just run with it and hope it holds. The chip is the size of a quarter and doesn't look to have affected the silicone. Any thoughts? At the deepest part, the chip looks to be a little less than half the thickness of the glass at the very bottom.

I should think it's only cosmetic, and not structural. I guess the obvious thing is to put the chip to the back and forget it's there...

Have you tried to send it back to the vendor? If you can't return it, fill it up part way, and stand by with a mop.

Hey thanks for the reply. I didn't know anyone responded lol. I couldn't return it. I think it's only cosmetic as well though. I did as stated and turned the chip away from viewing side. Filled it completely up for a week in the garage and didn't see a sign of stress or leaks, Even with the extreme heat flux in the garage. I'm am going to test my luck and see how it goes.

Who'd you purchase it from that said you couldn't return it? If it was damaged in freight then someone would be paying to replace it.

Didn't notice the chip until 2 weeks after delivery. It was my word vs freights.
