Does anyone know or recognize what model this is?? the seller doesnt mention anything so no help there. I went to Swag website to look up what could be It, but all the adapter terms got me rrly confused. So question, how do I set this up?? that is what are the necessary adapters and such. For the solenoid lets say the Burkert 6011.

The seller did mention it has a "1/4" VCR Nupro".

Looking through the Swagelok catalog, it looks like an "S" series metering valve which is their low flow model. It would help if the seller provided a model number. It's hard to tell from the photo, but I don't think that it's a VCR connection which uses a metal gasket to seal. It looks like there is an o-ring on the end of the connector, which would be a VCO connection.

If you're connecting to this metering valve to a Burkert solenoid, then you would need an adapter from the VCR or VCO connection to 1/8 male NPT.

I have a feeling that the adapter would cost a bit more, because VCR and VCO fittings are often used in high purity applications.

It'll work well if you get the adaptor to 1/8th MPT. Then you might as well buy a vernier handle as well.

Did you buy the valve without knowing what are the cost of adapters?
you can almost pay for a same valve with the right connection ports for the cost of getting the correct adapters to NPT thread.

or, use expoxy, or solder.

Ah, been a while

Someone told me the VCR is an odd connector so I didnt follow up w/ the valve. Someone BIN them shortly afterward, all 5 of them. Price was like 40 each.
