I'm looking at buying a nice fixture to go over my 100 gallon. It will be 15-20" substrate to surface.

These are the two fixtures I'm looking at...

This one doesn't come with bulbs.

This one will come with bulbs that I choose.

I'm wondering which one will be the best for my tank. Let me know...

So I pulled the trigger on the Tek. It's 48" 6x54W. The deal was too good to pass up. It was on sale for $253! I picked up 4 of the Midday, 2 Aquaflora, and a hanging kit. I'm ready to get my 100 up to par.

I think this light will give me what I need for this tank. I hope this is a good light. I'm sure that it is.

ATM I'm still getting over the fact I just spent this amount of money lol. I will get over it soon, I'm sure, when the light is up and running, and the tank looks great.

Congrats on the new lights! I have heard good things about the Tek...6 tubes, eh? Be interesting to see the PAR on that!

Glad to hear you excited about your upgrades and redoing the tank. Is a good thing to challenge ourselves and push to the next level or goal, whatever that is.

Pics, pics, pics lol

Well just got my light in and the bulbs. I'm very impressed with the way they were packed. I've ordered plenty of lights online and none have come close to the quality of packing that http://www.reefgeek.com/ did!

I will plug them in later, and I will see how well they work. The fixture itself looks amazing. I'm now very excited to get this tank looking amazing!
