Thinking about switching from very soft RODI water back to hard tap water. The tap water is about Kh 14, Gh ~18 after extra Mg is added.

I am assuming that at least some plants would take a hit. The system contains the following plants:

    Crypt. wendti
    Tropica swords
    Compacta swords
    Alternanthera reineckii
    Bacopa caroliniana
    Limnophila aromatica
    Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata 'Cuba'
    Ludwigia sp. 'Guinea'
    Ludwigia glandulosa,
    Hygrophila polysperma,
    Hydrophila polysperma "Sunset",
    Lobelia cardinalis 'Small Form',
    Eleocharis parvula
    Rotala macrandra 'Red'

I am wondering what the best way to proceed would be?
