stainless: ss-2c2-1/3
brass: b-2c2-1/3

the brass are in stock and in the $20-30 range. The stainless are special order and run in the $60-70 range. The stainless takes about a month fro mthe time of order to be made.

excellent quality. I have pics if you want. I have two stainless check valves (one on my SGT 500 and one on my VTS253A-1993).

Swagelok SS-2C2-1/3:
Here is the big ticket item I had to order from Swagelok. It took 3 weeks to get here from the factory. It looks different from the Nupro version I have on my vts253a-1993.

WoW! Thanks !! nice can you give me the order number of the Stainless Steel and the Brass Check Valve's,
Is the Nupro version SS-2C2-1/3: just as good as the Swagelok made one, An the Brass are they just as good . I was looking for one to go frome the bubble counter to the Needle Valve
I think I would need some thing like M/F on each end, Just place my order for a SS 1/8npt x 1.5 Hex Nipple and the SS 1/8npt Elbow {will be using the hex nipple the elbow is to be save for later}.
Want to replace my old brass that I have but if the Brass Check Valve are good might just go Brass instead. I replace my Clippard Solenoid Valve an didn't want to rely on the check valve that's in side the JBJ Bubble Counter.

I was just checking the web site and found this : http://www.swagelok.com/search/find...5-1&item=c80b8fbe-343c-49a5-8ef1-2a086c6523b7
That is what I'm looking for to go from Needle Valve to the Bubble Counter "But" I could only find them in 1/4 and 1/2 MNPT/FNPT
When ordering a check valve do you look for the lowest psig and {0.007 bar} number for our use??

Look at post # 2 for part numbers.
The brass is just as good as the stainless, just different case material
I got the nupro from a surplus link Left C sent me. It is rare to find them on ebay. Nupro and swagelok are the same part made by swagelok.
I ordered my swagelok from swagelok.

Thermal expansion is a itsy bitsy bit smaller for SS vs Brass, entirely non significant for us and CO2.

1/3 psig (0.03 bar) is this the type we need to look at {the psig at 1/3 and the .03 bar}
The thing is that if you look closer to my setup ,My needle valve has a 1/8 MNPT and the Bubble Counter has a 1/8 FNPT

Can any chime on this? I think this could be what I need?
http://www.clippard.com/catalog/Page 141.pdf

MJCV-1AB
MJCV-1AB-MR
Air flow 20scfm @ 50 psig,36 scfm @ 100 psig ; 580 1/min @ 6 bar

It looks like the air flow is from Female to Male / Like my needle valve to my bubble counter
What do you think would this work! It has 1/8 npt ports ?

I tried one of the clippards on my vts253b-320 and it was horrible. for my particular part number, see the thread (I think I have a pic of it). Looks like the cracking pressure is around 7-8 psi for these. Yoiu have to account for line pressure especially if youa re runnning a ceramic diffuser.

Is this what we need to get for our use:
Fixed Pressure, 1/8 port, MNPT, 1/3 psig (0.03 bar)

Hi Marcos
Our MJCV line has a cracking pressure of around 1/2 psi. The MJCV-1AB
does flow from female to male.
Thanks

Yep just seconds ago he email me back and said that they didn't have any of that model that will go down that low on pressure . Strike -2

just get a female coupler...problem solved.

Do you have a part Number for this?
Because I might have to follow your setup with that check valve you have showen me.

I just found it , is this what you were applying to?

http://www.swagelok.com/search/find...HCG&item=23518822-f2cb-4bed-85b9-5bc1b6f4cb57

For the price for the Brass B-2C2-1/3 Check Valve , I might also use the Brass Female Coupler for $3.60

http://www.swagelok.com/search/find...HCG&item=23518822-f2cb-4bed-85b9-5bc1b6f4cb57

And for the price for the check valve B-2C2-1/3 $20.70

http://www.swagelok.com/search/find_products_home.aspx?part=B-2C2-1/3&item=

I guess this would be the best way to go
Thanks Matt

Hi!

Yes, I would use the Swagelok brass coupler w/ the b-2c2-1/3. With that combo you can rest assured that it will protect your rig and not make strange noises.

The clippard part number I used and had problem with was the: MJCV-1AA

reg8-23007.jpg

I think this has a cracking pressure of 1 psig (14.7 psi). This doesn't work well with the ceramic diffusers. The Clippard parts you listed have a lower cracking pressure, so they may work fine.

I know the Swagelok 1/3 psig cracking pressure will work with ceramic diffusers w/o issue.

I rest assured that the regulators and solenoid are well protected with the swagelok unit.

Will today was AAGGGGG hell !@#$%
Will today I got my shipment from UPS, I got my Swagelok nipple and elbow and another order for a cylinder wall mount bracket for x2 10lb co2 tanks. The web site at:
http://www.globalindustrial.com/p/s...binets/cylinder/wall-mount-cylinder-bracket-3
It says the length was 15inch when I open the box an measured it at 21inch
So now I called the rep and she look at it on the web and it said 15inch , So now she has to contact the warehouse to see if they made an error? :p So I told here if they didn't have the 15in that I will take the single mount. So now I got to ship it back. Now that I'm on the lap top on front of my 110g tank and I turn to one side and what do I feel   Water !! I sprung a leak!! It was a drip from my Mazzie ! I had plans on changing my line system anyway but not until a couple of months from now because I was having issue with the system keeping my water temp at 88F-90F due to the bottle neck i have . So I took every thing apart and bought hose's, clamps and all the part's . It going to take me a couple of days , So I crank up my old {like new look} Aqua Supreme King!!!!:gw Dam it still works!!
This is going to take a couple because I just had surgery on my foot and cant put weight on it for 4 month's So now I'm doing all this with a cast on my leg but I got help from my 10yr son!! :gw
and my wife help me take the canopy off!
