So after a month of finding this place and having every freaking question I posed on this forum answered by Tom Barr his own self, I felt I had to support this service and subscribed to the Barr report for $12.95 a year. I did it, as I say, not because I was expecting much in the way of additional info or service, but because I need to see this forum live long and prosper for my own selfish reasons. But I am here to tell you that the $12.95 buys you access to a GINORMOUS amount of proprietary reports, info and advice about every aspect of aquatic plantkeeping. If you compare it to the glossy fish rags, for the price of 2 or 3 issues, each containing maybe an article or two mostly rehashing the basics, you get immediate access to tons of expert info. I can honestly say there's more there than has been published about plants by all of the fish rags combined over the past ten years. And it's not all Tom Barr stuff either.
BTW, I am not a shill for the international Barr cabal and as a former writing teacher, I sometimes have to restrain myself from blue penciling some of his more cryptic and sloppily written posts. I don't know him or anyone else connected to this forum from Adam (or Eve for that matter). I am just genuinely surprised by what's available in the premium section of this forum and wanted to share.
