I set up a new tank for my Niece and her Staurogyne repens are starting to turn grey. They were doing fine for the first week or so. It doesn't really look like they're melting. They just seem to be turning grey and the leaves fall off then.
    Any thoughts on this??

They are either adapting or dying, I'd check your ammonia elves in case your tank is still cycling. If so, perform 2x 50% water change a week, that'll help.

+ check co2 levels , this plant loves CO2 , if not enough and you have high lights it will melt and die
