staurogyne porto velho with Excel ?

Has any one grown or seen how does staurogyne porto velho react to Excel dosing? Was planning on using this a foreground plant in a nano with excel only as the CO2 medium.

It would be a approx 8 Gal, 5 Gal after Substrate and would be under a CFL bulb of 23 watts.

It doesn't really need much light and can even be grown without CO2 so I guess addition of excel would only benefit the plant.

I have tried growing it in medium light and it does not do well in my experience View attachment 3845 here is a picture of it at 120 umols here is one at 50 View attachment 3846 maybe it's just me

mine did just fine at 40-50umols.

I brought back some from the AGA Convention, and it's doing great. Seeing new leaves. Hopefully will start to spread in the next week or too.
