I rigged up the 600 RVT with a 12mm Eheim Spray Bar a few years back. It had decent power. The 800 may work better.

How did you add the Eheim spray bar to the rio pump?

I used some Eheim 12mm (1/2") parts. The OD of the RVT output is 1/2" if I am remembering right. Be sure to check it to see if it might be 5/8" instead. I used a series of 2 curved elbows and tubing to allow both the RVT and the spray bar to be attached to the aquarium's inside glass.

I got all my parts from Big Al's at the time because they carried everything and they were the cheapest. Their picture of the curved line elbow shows a right angle elbow that you don't want to use. I don't know if their picture is wrong or what. Even when you search the part number 4014050, it shows the right angle elbow which is wrong. Anyway, I found the curved line elbow at ThatPetPlace.

this 494 spray bar may work as well and it isn't green. Use can use the intake extensions if you drill out the places for the holes to increase the spray bar's length: http://www.bigalsonline.com/Fish_Plumbing-Replacement-Parts_Canister-Filter-Replacement-Parts_Spray-Bar-Set_9818625_82.html?tc=default
