I collected these stems this morning from a local swamp. Can anyone ID?

Looks almost like a Ludwigia sphaerocarpa, but the emergent is different. Probably you will need to get it to flower to get an absolute id. Perhaps somebody with more experience in N-America plants can provide a more adequate suggestion.

Thanks! That does look really similar. Maybe I can swing by that location in a few weeks and catch them flowering.
