Imagine the most evil laugh possible ... Muhwahhhhaaaaaa!!!!!

Ok ... everyone thinks that running a website is simple ... few realize all the work that is involved ... but for anyone who might want to give it a try - I thought I'd post a list of domain names that have recently become available to register ...

Aquarium basics .com
Aqua creative .com
Aqua dad .com
Aqua ecommerce .com
Aquarium – kits .com
Aquarium – kit .com
Aquarium school .com
Aquarium log .com
Aquatic plus .com
Aquatic room .com
Aqua faqs .com
Aqua thoughts .com

I can come up with several dozen ideas about what could be done with any of these ... but of all of the domain names above ... the only two I could recommend would be the AquaDad.com and AquaThoughts.com ... both would make an excellent Blog about your hobby ... and a personal blog is a great way to give it a try!

And if anyone registers one of the domains above, a link back to the BarrReport.com website or my personal website gregwatson.com would make a wonderful way to say "thank you" ....

Muhwahhhhaaaaaa!!!!!

Re: So you want to start an aquarium website ...

Thanks for the info Greg.
I've been meaning to start up a personal website. so I went ahead and got the Aquadad.com (I'm a Proud Dad of a 3yr old girl.)
Now to figure out what platform and who is going to host the site.

Congratulations AquaDad ... sounds like it might even make a good screen name ...

Check with the registrar where you registered your domain ... a lot of them have a really cheap blog hosting service ...

Otherwise check out Blogger.com ... I'd swear that they allow you to point your own domain to your blogger domain (not sure how that works, but its supposed to) ...

Re: So you want to start an aquarium website ...

I want to setup a full web site not just a blog.
I got hosting through http://www.ipowerweb.com/
for $100.00 a year. They give you a pretty good deal.
I haven't done to much programming in php/mysql so
it should be fun getting deeper into it. I do .net/asp
and other programming for a living so its a good way
to expand my knowledge.
