Anyone know what the small bubbles are that come off the leaves? Its usually in a stream. I am guessing its oxygen but why does it only happen to certain plants and only certain places on the plants? And is it a good thing or bad?

No worries. It is called pearling, the oxygen bubbles that form on your plants and sometimes stream. It is visible photosynthesis. It means you are doing something right :)

Usually a steady stream of very small bubbles indicates damage to a plant. Might have been bumped with the scissors during trimming. Scratched with a misguided fingernail......ect.....ect. At least in my tank.

Pearling bubbles are usually larger and collect on the plant before rising to the surface.

Do not worry yourself about the small streams of bubbles from damaged plant tissue. It isn't cause for alarm. If the leaf is badly torn or otherwise damaged just snip it off.
