slowed growth since lighting upgrade

    I recently increased lighting from 1.5 wpg to just over 3 wpg. I`ve noticed that my stem plants are much fuller, but they don`t gain height nearly as quickly as they used to. The top inch or so of my egeria never really stands up straight anymore. It used to sag at night, but once the lights came on, it would stand right up. Pearls like mad since the new light arrived though.

    Any ideas why they aren`t gaining much height?

    brad, thats quite an increase in lighting all at once.imo i would give it a chance to acclimate to the increased light.you are also going to see what we all call algae plants.be carefull. regards,cornhusker :) :)
