Does anyone here use a siesta period? I've been using one but don't see much of a difference. If you guys do, what are the schedules you run on your lights?

The only reason I've found they ar epreferred is that folks want to view the tank in the morning and the evening when they are there.
So the lights come on then, and off during the middle of the day.

I do not bother, I leave some tanks on later, some on earlier. About 8-9 hours.

If the CO2 is lagging......then a midday off period will allow the CO2 to get back up some.
But if things are well run to begin with(eg, you have a control for the test), then it makes no difference.
