Beautiful collections Krissy. This makes me wish I had another tank just for plants only. I really love those little spiky ones. Im not sure a plant could actually be considered "cute" but if it could be, then I would consider them little cuties!

Can Erios really be integrated in a Dutch style tank or would the parameters needed for successful cultivation conflict with other species?

Erios can easily be integrated into a Dutch style tank. People see Eriocaulon and think it needs special parameters but it really doesnt.

I keep things simple. Good soft water, co2, medium lights, good flow, good substrate, ferts, you can grow anything

Your S. giant look much more like uaupes than the uaupes. If they branch and do not get taller much, then the giants are likely that.

At least based on the 2010 and 2012 collections and shipments.

If they have those traits(branch and stay short), then for all practical purposes, they are S "uaupes".

1st pic has Type 3 (Left side, dark green)

Kimberly (Middle)

Sri Lanka (Right side with double heads)

2nd pic has Kimberly, Sri Lanka.

The Kimberly and Sri Lanka been growing for about 3 weeks so they should get greener.

He does blend in nicely. Are Kimberly and Sri lanka better behaved that Type 3?

I never kept Type 3 because I find it looking too messy in tight spaces.
