Hello! I'm new to high tech tanks and have my first one set up for 2 months now. I picked up some Rotala Florida 2 weeks ago to try some of the trickier plants and was wondering if anyone had tips on what this one likes? My other plants are all doing fantastic so far. This one i started with 5 tiny stems. 3 immediately melted. Leaves dropped turned grayish and gone a few days later. This one seems to be deciding whether it wants life or death lol. It grew an inch this week, made 2 baby sprouts at the bottom and 4 side buds. Some leaves have green patches in the middle of the purple though? Not sure if that means impending death or if it pull through lol. Sure seems like it's trying though so if anyone with more experience knows what they like I'd love some tips. Tank is a 75g, tropica soil, co2 is kept light green to yellow. Nilocg all in one ferts 2x a week. Ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrates 10 to 20. 2 fluval 3.0 lights on 10 hours a day 8 hours full the rest is ramped up and down. Ignore the hydra infestation o.o they hitchhiked in with the last plant order and exploded this week.
