Guys, sorry to bring up another guy besides Tom, but I was wondering if anybody knew if something has happened to Rex. I ordered some stuff from him some time ago, and had to cancel the order as it was not filled. The check, after some time, had not been cashed. He did not acknowledge my e-mails, either. He's a crusty devil, but very ok. Hate to think something negative has befallen him.

I try to keep on top of who is doing what in this niche of selling plant food ...

Rumor is that Rex is wriggling with some health issues right now. There are lots of reports about "no response" type experiences right now. So I would tend to believe that is the cause.

Because your experience is shared by others right now I would suggest that temporarily at least you simply buy elsewhere for now.

I'm friends with him, but have not heard from him in years now. He was on disability back then.....so he was not doing too well even back before this.

Hi Walter,

No need to apologize for showing concern for someone else....that sort of thing should spread.....

I live 30 minutes from him, and this has been going on for a couple years. He has been in seclusion with very little communication with anyone for a long time, and has been having some sort of ongoing health issue

I've been getting my dry ferts from www.aquariumfertilizer.com and they are pretty good. They ship out quickly and the products seem great and affordable. I live in Florida and my products arrived within a week and fast. I'd been using Seachem liquid fertilizers and started these and my plants seem to like them more and have healthier root and stocks. Anyway, if you need the dry ferts I thought I'd mention them as I've ordered twice and have had really good experiences.
