Residue from tap water

This might be off topic , but I've noticed a pink stain around my bathtub and at the back of the toilet when my girlfriend neglects to clean the bathroom as often as I'd like . It wipes off easily , but I am wondering if anyone knows what this might be and if it is something that I should be concerned about or how it might affect an EI dosing regime . Probably iron in the water.

Reddish colors=> rust, red to pink staining.
