    One of the last questions asked during this brief interview was "Can algae feed on Excel?"

    Doctor Morin says "No...for reasons Uncle Sam won't let us discuss... (big picture folks, no chemistry involved ;-). "

    What does that mean? I don't get it. :p

    Probably laws to do with algaecides and labeling. If they want to market it as an algaecide, it means more commercial restrictions.

    I plan on switching to Cidex or Metricide; they have the decency to tell you what it is and how much, where Seachem likes to hide what they can about products like Excel.
