I am currently designing a new aquascape for my 130g tank. I have several plants in mind and many i cannot find local. I have been searching online to order specific plants and have found a few websites.

One site in particular is AZ Gardens. I've actually bought some fish and they shipped to me in FL with no problems. Can anyone relate their experience with AZ Gardens & plants? Did they arrive healthy? and were they fair on the portions?

I'm looking to spend around $300 just on the plants on my list. But I don't want to waste my money on cheap bunched plants.

Also any other recommendations for buying large qty of plants online somewhere else?

Thanks,
Lee

I just recently used AquariumPlants.com Largest online sales / service site for the live aquarium plants & aquarium products community. for a fairly large order when I redid my 29 gal. just a few weeks ago. The order was filled rather quickly and everything arrived within the week. All the plants looked great and everything was there and in the correct quantities. I have also used them several times before and I have not had a single problem. The only thing I can say is that they dont really answer their emails, but it hasnt mattered for me because there never has been anything that I needed their attention for. Everything always comes to my house looking great, and their online ordering webpage is pretty good and allows you to change/view/etc. your orders. I also think they have a fairly good selection. They sell cheap HC from FAN. and they have no order min. but a lot of the plants are cheap bunch plants. I dunno....just take a look.

I also recently ordered from Aquadise on ebay and their plants looked wonderful, but the orders took a little longer to fill and I think I got something other than the E. Stellata that I ordered, but it looks too close to tell. However, I only ordered one or two plants at a time, and probably wouldnt place a huge order.

I haven't used AZ Gardens, but have heard fairly good things about them from my research and web searches.

Good luck with your order. I felt the same way you do when I wanted to make my big order, and in the end I went with the people I had used before and trusted.

Arizona Aquatic Gardens shipped me fantastic looking plants and good portions too!

If and when I buy more plants I will look at their website first due to my good experience.

* I bought 100.00 worth of plants for my 135gal tank.... filled the entire tank! + they start growing fast/overnight if you have a good setup >> ! I can't even imagine what to do with 300.00 worth of plants ..... Hahahahaa!!!

Excellent results

Hi,

I have ordered from their web site many times for fish, plants, and shrimps.

All have been good. Plants especially are excellent! The 'monster' Java fern and C. Wendti are truly nice specimens.

Retailers try their best to send decent products, but it's tough on line in the heat(summer).

So taking the conditions with a grain of salt is wise.

I see plenty of folks screaming on forums about plants from vendors.
Hey, there where two vendors when I got into the hobby, Gasser and Delaware aquatics. Neither are around but we had very few choices and we where happy:)

They had lots of Crypts back then:)

Still, aquatic plant vendors have become much better, so has shipping.
I just demand something viable that I can recover.
I also try not ship or have sent when it's hotter than sin.
