Raising Nitrate due to BGA

Just started using Seachem's Tropica Plant Nutrition , this is my third dose
(20 ml 3x week) instead of Plantex CSM and my BGA has increased significantly.

Present EI dose KNO3: 7.8g 3x week.

Should I increase KNO3, if so, how much?

125gal/100gal net tank.

No, I think cleaning the filter and light vacuuming of the gravel, pruning any dead or over grown plants etc will help much more. Large water changes, suck up as much as you can and fluff the leaves to get as much as you can, do water changes, maybe 2x a week.

I've never had to resort to BO with BGA, always just clean, clean clean, water chnage water change re set re set etc.

Basic stuff really.
Excel might help some also.
7.8 grams sounds like a lot.
6 is more like what you might want to add if tank= 100gallon.
