macro i use something between Ei and PPspro. with alot of PO4 and Mg. micros is almost all of them chelated. Fe DTPA, Mn DTPA. boric acid, Zn sulphate, and very very small amounts of Copper EDTA and Molibden EDTA. i keep 0.1 ppm Fe , 20-25ppm NO3. 8ppm PO4, 40-45ppm K or more. i use tap water treated with HCL for lowering KH. from kh6 to kh 1. Gh is 8. temperature 24-28. light, now i use only 10 x39W . sometime ago i used 14x39w. T5

Beautiful! So what was the fertilizer regime that gave you the best result?

    Hi Daniel,
can you tell me please how much micro are you dosing now? I am experiencing some stunted macrandra and I guess I am dosing too much of micro. How much you were using at the beginning at this thread?
Do you think that micros were the culprit or something else. When it does grow, my macrandra looks like yours at the beginning, somehow greenish. But most of the time it is stunted.
I am using the usual mix commercially available, Fe 8.2% ; Mn 1.82% ; Zn 1.16% ; B 1.05% ; Cu 0.23% ; Mo 0.15%. 2x, 3x the recommended dose, because other plants do better with this regimen.
But some more experienced like Tom Barr think that there is no thing as over-fertilization with micros. What do you think?

For micros i try to keep as low as possible. I dose small amounts, like 0.07-0.1ppm Fe. Now i try not past over 0.5ppm Fe in tank. Also, green spots on macrandra is a macro "problem" like small value for Mg or too much No3.

But what about others, besides Fe, in a previous post you mentioned Zn, was Zn increase beneficial? Or other traces with non-standard proportions?
Is your low kH interfering in the good way with the micro absortion?
