If I use a Dechlorinator during waterchanges, will it affect my macros when I dose them? I know that it will bind with the chlorine/chloromine etc. but how about everything else?

I would not think so -- I have never heard anyone talk about that, here or on any of the other sites I frequent. Just out of curiosity, what dechlorinator do you use?? One of the most popular (and cheapest!) seems to be prime.

Re: Question on Dechlorinator

I have been using Sera, it is one for dechlorinating ponds actually. It only takes a few drops when I do a change on my tank. One bottle does 5000 liters. Can’t remember the exact name off the top of my head (at work right now) I will have to check tonight. I use this brand because it is the only one the store I trade most of my excess plants to carries.

Re: Question on Dechlorinator

General they conjugate with chorine/chloramines. This binds them up so they do not remove electrons from critters, plants, bacteria etc.

But in general they have little effect on traces/macros.
