Question on carbon filter for WC

Hi,

I bought a water filter WATTS P-55/50 http://www.nsf.org/Certified/DWTU/Listings.asp?Standard=042&Company=57200& and I just noticed that "Special 'Bacteriostatic' media inhibits bacterial growth in filter". I am not too sure now if I can use it in aquarium. Does anybody have any experience or knowledge about that?

Yes, you do not want bacterial films on the these filters.
This is fine since it is for water change water.
