I didn't want to mix up my numerous other posts with this next question so here goes:
How many powerheads should be used in a 90 gallon long?
Could two Hydor Koralia Evolution Model 750 pumps be sufficient or is this too much?
they pump out about 750 gph each this coupled with a fluval fx5 (500-600 gph) is my current plan
Critiques warranted and welcomed :)
Thanks again,
-Nick

Can there ever be too much water flow?

It is often said non CO2 tanks can benefit from less surface water agitation during the day. I understand the new Evolution model can be put on a timer, which is nice. You wouldn't need to run them both at the same time and having two would give you more current when and where you want it. One would be sufficient, IMO. But then again, I have never owned a 90 gallon tank.

Have a look here:

I use two 750s in my 55g and it works real good for me. And with the xp4, the AC70 and the AC30 I get lots of movement. And no, the plants do not get leveled or uprooted. Goldies and Ottos love it.
