The tank is an Aqueon Evolve 8 (6.5 gallon capacity). It is approximately 12" tall from top to bottom and 9" deep (not counting the hidden sump compartment). I have running in the compartments, carbon, ceramic discs, sponges

Lighting Fugeray 12" LED fixture putting out 38-42 par at 10"

I have about 2" of eco complete in the front and then 3" to the back. I have spread out approximately 10 flourish tabs, 5 api root tabs, 4 gel capsule osmocote complete capsules.

The substrate is dominated by about 30 pygmy chain swords, then I have a piece of driftwood with a combo of a few anubias petite nana, 1 anubias nana, about 12 narrow java fern phillipine leaves.

The tank has 6 neon blue rasboras, 1 honey gourami, 1 otto, 3 pygmy cories that get fed daily copious amounts of food.

Dosing regimen:

I am dosing flourish excel 1x recommended amount daily, 1x a week recommended amount of flourish.

Tap Water perams:

Po4 (api test kit) 0.5ppm
KH = 40-50 (tetra strip)
GH = 150
Nitrate (api) 0

Aquarium Water Perams:

Po4 Po4 (api test kit) 2ppm (think this is high because I was dosing dry Kh2Po4 per the recommendation of this article http://www.sudeepmandal.com/hobbies/planted-aquarium/guide-low-tech-excel-planted-tank/)
Nirate = 5ppm
KH =120
GH =150

I do weekly 50% water changes.

Follow EI, dose excel, watch plants and fish. If you see algae blooming, its probably CO2 problems, excel might not be sufficient.

Weekly WC and regular filter cleaning will help. Your plants will tell you what you need. Do research on anything you have questions on and ask.

Also, is your GH seriously 150 degrees? If so, your test is wayyy off.

Hey thanks for your help! It does say 150ppm for GH. Is the normal GH test in Degrees? Well I have co2 just waiting to fill the co2 bottle and to get a co2 checker.
