    Hi,

I will receive about 6 bunches of DHG next week and I need some tips and advice on how to plant it best. My wife wants to do a dense carpet in front of a 30g breeder tank. Tank contains Black Neon Tetras, Cardinal Tetras, Rasboras, Rcs and a runt Clown Pleco.

Another Q please...........will it be difficult to grow a nice, decent carpet with this plant ? I dose plenty and of course I have co2.

Why explain when you can show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJHk6bbUwuE (found it on youtube, tropica also has some excelent youtube movies about planting) Personally I'd clip it a little shorter but gues that's just personal preference.

If you dose plenty, especially Co2 it's not that hard for it to fill in. Might take a while depending on how much light your using. It does still get a big long for a foreground plant in smaller tanks tho, doesnt stay as low as the Japan/belem sp.

Thanks Hallen. I have 78w t5ho raised 15" above the tank, which is too much light, imo. I am planning on raising the lights another 2-3".

You've messed several threads up with "picked & match" answers.

Hehe, I agree with his picked answer anyway. ;)

I separated my Hairgrass down to small individual.
That made them weak, took very long time to recover.
The clump size in the video above looks right.
I should have known that before planting mine.

Post is deleted and user is banned....

    Folks, if a reply is:

    a) from a new poster

    AND

    b) contains a link that has no reference to plants or our hobby

It is very likely from a spambot.....

    Please keep reporting these....

    Thks Hallen...

    Thanks Gerry.

As you all can see, the spam software has gotten very sophisticated and tricky little Bastards.
So when you use the advice Gerry gave, red flag those post. If there is any link to somewhere else, also good cause for suspecting spam.
