Re: plant source

I just ordered from aquariumplants.com

I've had plants from them before, a freebie because I was honest (wow) and returned an extra CO2 regulator they sent me. I was quite impressed with the quality.

Have you tried Charlie aka Lowcoaster on aquabid? shoot him an email asking what you are looking for, he has alot of stuff..
I have read good an bad reviews on fishvet, heard they are getting better, they have some rare plant's I would like to order, but their shipping rates are a bit pricey...

Re: plant source

fishvet.com is the same place as www.aquariumlandscapes.net and I would whole-heartedly recommend them as a source for plants. They're a little more expensive than most, but their plants are top-quality and the care they put into packing and shipping the plants is unmatched. I've ordered many plants from Dr. Prescott (the owner) and his service is superb. I recommend them without hesitation.

I've ordered from FishVet.com twice ... got very good service both times and fantastic plants both times ...

I've also ordered from AZGardens.com ... fantastic plants, fantastic prices, and fantastic service on the plant side ... however, I've had essentially 100% losses on the "livestock" side ... their facility is not open to tours or visitors, but I'm going to try to setup an appointment to visit with them this spring ... I've got a hairbrained idea I want to visit with them about ...

Re: plant source

:) :) greg, i too have had bad luck with livestock from there. i ordered 2 dozen tiger shrimp, all went to shrimp heaven in 24 hours. he sends very good instructions on how to acclimate, but still did not help. peter is a nice fellow.been in business a long time, has good reputation. you win some and you lose some. i've been told that aquariumplants.com is going to have rare crypts in stock in three weeks. they have no minimum order. :) :) regards, cornhusker,(crypt lover)
