Phytosiderophores, EDTA and gluconate

I just read this:

My question: There is no leaf-uptake of the Fe+++ in TMG and it is mainly monocots that is able to use TMG efficiently?

PS's are mainly from grasses, not all plants/moncots.
The TMG is quite bioavilable and stays in solution longer than Flourish form example.
